泉理彦

Michihiko Izumi is a Japanese politician currently serving his fifth term as the Mayor of Naruto City in Tokushima Prefecture. Born in Naruto, he graduated from the Kyoto Sangyo University Faculty of Law before working as a municipal employee for 14 years. He began his political career as a member of the Naruto City Council in 2003. In 2009, he was first elected mayor following the death of his predecessor. Since then, he has secured multiple re-elections, including consecutive uncontested victories in 2017 and 2021, and most recently won his fifth term in November 2025.
