Chisato Miyade is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Councillors, representing the Osaka Prefecture constituency. Born in Kawachinagano, Osaka, she attended Tezukayama Gakuin Junior High School and graduated from Osaka Prefectural Tondabayashi High School before briefly attending Oklahoma State University in the United States. Prior to her political career, she worked in the construction industry. After an unsuccessful bid for the House of Representatives in the 2024 general election, she was elected to the House of Councillors in July 2025 as a candidate for the Sanseito party. Her election marked a significant milestone for her party, securing its first seat in the Osaka electoral district.
