Mohamed Mchengerwa is a Tanzanian politician and a current member of the Tanzanian Cabinet. Born on September 1, 1979, he was first elected as the Member of Parliament for the Rufiji constituency in 2015. Since 2021, he has held several ministerial positions within the government of President Samia Suluhu Hassan, including Minister of State in the President's Office for Public Service Management and Good Governance, Minister of Culture, Arts and Sports, and Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism. As of September 2023, he serves as the Minister of State in the President's Office for Regional Administration and Local Government.
