酒井直人

Naoto Sakai is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Nakano Ward in Tokyo. Born in Toki, Gifu Prefecture, he graduated from Waseda University with a degree in law and spent over two decades working as a civil servant within the Nakano Ward Office, where he held various administrative and management roles. He was first elected as Mayor in 2018 and has since been re-elected, most recently in 2026. His administration has focused on urban development projects, including the redevelopment of the Nakano Sunplaza complex.
