Nishantha Jayaweera

Nishantha Jayaweera is a Sri Lankan politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament. He was appointed to the legislature via the National List on July 7, 2025, representing the National People's Power party. He assumed his seat after the resignation of Harshana Suriyapperuma and was officially sworn in on July 9, 2025. His appointment was confirmed by the Election Commission of Sri Lanka, marking his entry into the 17th Parliament of Sri Lanka.
