栗尾典子

Noriko Kurio is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Kasaoka, Okayama Prefecture. Born in 1967, she previously worked for Okayama Broadcasting and as a part-time high school home economics teacher before entering politics. She served one term as a member of the Kasaoka City Council before being elected as the city's first female mayor in April 2024. Her political platform focuses on improving public transportation, addressing odor issues in reclaimed land areas, and implementing various child-rearing support policies, including the elimination of fees for school lunches and after-school clubs.
