Pádraig Delargy

Pádraig Delargy is an Irish politician who has served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Foyle constituency since 2021. A member of the Sinn Féin party, he was selected to replace Karen Mullan following an internal party review. Prior to his entry into politics, Delargy worked as a teacher based in Derry. He holds an undergraduate degree from Queen’s University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Ulster University. In February 2026, he announced that he would not contest the next Northern Ireland Assembly election.
