Paulo Moniz

Paulo Moniz is a Portuguese politician and electrical and computer engineer serving as a Deputy to the Assembly of the Republic representing the Social Democratic Party for the Azores constituency. Born in São Sebastião, Ponta Delgada, he graduated and obtained a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico. Before entering parliament full-time in October 2019, he held various leadership and technical roles in technology and telecommunications companies such as Globaleda and Electricidade dos Açores, and served as president of the Azores regional section of the Order of Engineers.
