Peravurani N. Ashokkumar

N. Ashokkumar is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly representing the Peravurani constituency. A long-time member of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), he began his political career in 1975 and previously served as the chairman of the Peravurani town panchayat in 2006 and 2011. He successfully retained his assembly seat in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election. Beyond his legislative duties, he is recognized for his background as a social worker in the Thanjavur District.
