Pervin Buldan

Pervin Buldan is a Turkish politician of Kurdish origin who currently serves as a Member of the Grand National Assembly representing Van. After the murder of her husband in 1994, she became a prominent human rights activist and founded the Association of Solidarity and Assistance for the Families of Missing Persons. A long-time advocate for Kurdish rights and peace, she previously served as co-chair of the Peoples' Democratic Party and has been a key figure in negotiations regarding the Kurdish issue in Turkey.
