Peter Burke

Peter Burke is an Irish Fine Gael politician serving as the Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment since January 2025. A member of Dáil Éireann for the Longford–Westmeath constituency since 2016, he previously held various ministerial roles, including Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment and Minister of State for European Affairs. Before his national political career, Burke served on the Westmeath County Council from 2009 to 2016 and worked as a Chartered Accountant, a background that informed his focus on finance and taxation policy.
