Peter De Roover

Peter De Roover is a Belgian politician, economist, and former journalist who currently serves as the President of the Chamber of Representatives. A member of the Flemish nationalist New Flemish Alliance (N-VA), he was first elected to the Belgian Federal Parliament in 2014. Before his political career, De Roover worked as an economics teacher and a prominent journalist, serving as editor-in-chief of the magazine Doorbraak. He is known for his conservative views and his advocacy for the formal recognition of the Armenian genocide.
