Philip McGuigan is a Northern Irish politician who has served as a Member of the Northern Ireland Assembly (MLA) for North Antrim since 2016. Previously, he held the same seat from 2003 to 2007 and served as a Ballymoney Borough Councillor from 2001 to 2014. A member of Sinn Féin, McGuigan made history in 2017 by becoming the first candidate from his party to top the poll in the North Antrim constituency. He was raised in Swatragh, County Londonderry, and currently resides in Dunloy with his family.
