Raghubar Das

Raghubar Das is an Indian politician who served as the 26th Governor of Odisha from 2023 to 2024. A long-time member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he previously served as the 6th Chief Minister of Jharkhand from 2014 to 2019, becoming the first chief minister in the state's history to complete a full five-year term. Before his tenure as governor, he was a five-time Member of the Legislative Assembly representing Jamshedpur East and held various ministerial roles, including Deputy Chief Minister of Jharkhand. Das began his career as a legal professional at Tata Steel and was active in the Total Revolution movement during his youth.
