Raquel Sánchez Jiménez

Raquel Sánchez Jiménez is a Spanish lawyer and politician who has served as a prominent figure within the Socialists' Party of Catalonia. She previously held the position of Mayor of Gavà starting in 2014 before being appointed as the Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda of the Government of Spain in 2021. During her tenure as minister, she led significant negotiations regarding national transport support packages aimed at addressing fuel price crises and industrial action. She continues to be active in Spanish national politics.
