Rathna Gamage is a Sri Lankan politician and teacher currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the Galle District and as the Deputy Minister of Fisheries, Aquatic, and Ocean Resources. A long-time member of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) since 2004, he previously served in the Akmeemana Pradeshiya Sabhawa and the Southern Provincial Council. Outside of his political career, he works as a government Piriven teacher and a private tutor specializing in science and physics.
