Ruwan Mapalagama

Ruwan Nishantha Mapalagama is a Sri Lankan educator and politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament. He was elected to the Parliament of Sri Lanka in the 2024 parliamentary election, representing the Gampaha Electoral District as a candidate for the National People's Power party, where he secured 78,673 votes. Before entering national politics, he was active in the student union movement at the University of Kelaniya. He was born on January 26, 1985.
