田中良二

Ryoji Tanaka is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Satsumasendai City in Kagoshima Prefecture. Born in 1956, he graduated from Kyushu University before beginning his career as a civil servant at the Sendai City Hall. He later served four terms as a member of the Kagoshima Prefectural Assembly, where he was affiliated with the Liberal Democratic Party. In 2020, he was elected Mayor of Satsumasendai with the support of the Liberal Democratic Party and Komeito, and he was re-elected unopposed in 2024.
