Sandy van Baal

Sandy van Baal is a German politician serving as a member of the Landtag of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern since 2021. Raised in the Mecklenburg Lake District, she worked as an independent entrepreneur in the tourism industry prior to her political career. Originally a member of the FDP, she left the party in 2025 and joined the Team Freiheit party. Her political activities have occasionally drawn national attention, including her attendance at an Alternative for Germany (AfD) summer festival in 2025.
