Sarah Rees

Sarah Rees is a Welsh politician serving as a Member of the Senedd for the Pen-y-bont Bro Morgannwg constituency since 2026. Before her election, she worked as the head of Oxfam Cymru and served as the chair of the independence advocacy group YesCymru. Rees has been a vocal advocate for parental rights and workplace equality, having become involved with the campaign group Pregnant Then Screwed following her own experience with redundancy during maternity leave. She previously contested the 2016 National Assembly for Wales election as a candidate for the Women's Equality Party.
