Satoshi Mochiduki is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Chuo City in Yamanashi Prefecture. Born in 1961, he graduated from Yamanashi Prefectural Agriculture and Forestry High School. Before entering politics, he had a long career as a local government official, working for the town of Tatomi and later for Chuo City following its municipal merger, where he served in roles including policy secretary and deputy mayor. He was first elected mayor in 2022 and was re-elected unopposed in 2026. In his capacity as mayor, he also manages regional administrative and environmental organizations.
