伊藤清一郎

Seiichiro Ito is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Chita, Aichi Prefecture. He graduated from the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Meijo University in 1996 and worked in the private sector for several years before entering local politics. Ito served as a member of the Chita City Council for three terms, during which he held the position of Chairman of the City Council and Chairman of the Aichi Prefecture City Council Chairmen's Association. He was elected as the Mayor of Chita in September 2025 after defeating other candidates in a closely contested election.
