Sera Evans is a Welsh politician serving as a Member of the Senedd for the Afan Ogwr Rhondda constituency since May 2026. A member of Plaid Cymru, she has also served as a Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Councillor for Treorchy since 2008, where she chaired the Education and Inclusion Scrutiny Committee. Before her election to the Senedd, Evans held a professional role as the Associate Director of UK Student Recruitment and Admissions at the University of South Wales. She is an alumna of the University of Oxford.
