Shuichi Ogawa is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Chikuma City in Nagano Prefecture. Born in 1967 in the former Koshoku City (now part of Chikuma), he graduated from the Meiji University Faculty of Law and worked as an administrative scrivener. After an unsuccessful bid for the Nagano Prefectural Assembly in 2011, he was elected to the Chikuma City Council in 2012 and subsequently served as a member of the Nagano Prefectural Assembly. In 2020, he was elected Mayor of Chikuma, defeating the incumbent, and was re-elected to a second term in 2024.
