Shaun Leane

Shaun Leo Leane is an Australian politician serving as a member for the North-Eastern Metropolitan Region in the Victorian Legislative Council. First elected in 2006, he has held various parliamentary roles, including serving as the President of the Victorian Legislative Council since 2018, with a brief interruption. Between 2020 and 2022, he served as a government minister with portfolios including Local Government, Suburban Development, and Veterans. In December 2025, he announced he would not seek re-election in the 2026 state election.
