内谷重治

Shigeharu Uchiya is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Nagai City in Yamagata Prefecture. Born in 1956, he graduated from Rikkyo University before beginning his career at the Nagai City Hall. After working in the private sector for several years, he entered local politics and was elected to the Nagai City Council in 1999. He was first elected mayor in 2006 and has since secured multiple consecutive terms, continuing to lead the municipal administration of Nagai.
