林茂男

Shigeo Hayashi is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Minamiuonuma in Niigata Prefecture. Born in 1967, he graduated from Meiji University's School of Political Science and Economics. Before entering national politics, he held leadership roles in local tourism organizations, including the Ishiuchi Maruyama Tourism Association. He was first elected to the Minamiuonuma City Council in 2009, serving two terms before being elected mayor in 2016. He has since been re-elected to lead the city, focusing on local administration and regional development.
