Sigmar Guðmundsson

Sigmar Guðmundsson is an Icelandic politician and former media personality who has served as a member of the Althing for the Southwest constituency since 2021. Before entering politics, he enjoyed a prominent 30-year career in broadcasting, working extensively for the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service (RÚV) as a journalist, interviewer, and program host. He is a member of the Reform Party (Viðreisn) and transitioned to parliamentary service following his long tenure in the media industry.
