Sofjan Jaupaj is an Albanian politician and lawyer who has served as the Minister of Environment of Albania since September 2025. Prior to his current appointment, he held the position of Deputy Minister of Tourism and Environment. Jaupaj has an extensive background in public administration, having served as Chief of Cabinet to the Chief Negotiator for EU Integration and as a director within the Prime Minister's Office. Since 2021, he has acted as Albania's National Designated Authority for the Green Climate Fund and the Global Environment Facility, reflecting his focus on environmental policy and international cooperation.
