Stanislav Dechev

Stanislav Dechev is a Bulgarian politician and engineer serving as the Mayor of Haskovo. Born on July 10, 1976, in Haskovo, he holds a master's degree in automation and systems engineering from the Technical University of Sofia. Before his tenure as mayor, he worked at the State Fund for Agriculture and served as a municipal councilor and regional governor of Haskovo. He was also a member of the 44th National Assembly of Bulgaria. Since his election as mayor in 2019, he has focused on municipal infrastructure development, including the construction of a new indoor swimming complex and the renovation of urban parks.
