Subasini Jena

Subasini Jena is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Odisha Legislative Assembly representing the Basta constituency. Elected in 2024 as a candidate for the Biju Janata Dal, she secured her seat by defeating the Indian National Congress candidate with a significant margin of over 20,000 votes. Prior to her entry into electoral politics, she was a businesswoman. She is noted for being one of the wealthiest candidates in the 2024 Odisha assembly elections, according to her official election affidavit.
