小島進

Susumu Kojima is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Fukaya in Saitama Prefecture. Born in Fukaya, he began his career in the private sector before entering local politics. He served three terms as a member of the Fukaya City Council, where he held leadership roles including chair of the Welfare and Education Committee and City Council Chair. In 2007, he was elected to the Saitama Prefectural Assembly. Since 2010, he has served as the Mayor of Fukaya, having been re-elected multiple times, most recently securing his fifth term in January 2026.
