Sylvia Tenney Allen is an American politician serving as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives since 2026. A long-time Republican activist, she previously served in the Arizona State Senate from 2008 to 2012 and again from 2015 to 2021. Throughout her career, she has focused on education policy, serving as chair of the Senate Education Committee, and has been a vocal advocate for conservative social and fiscal policies. Allen is also a co-founder and co-owner of the George Washington Academy, a charter school in Snowflake, Arizona, and previously served as a Navajo County Supervisor.
