斉藤猛

Takeshi Saito is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Edogawa Ward in Tokyo. Born in 1963, he began his career in 1982 as a civil servant at the Edogawa Ward Office, where he worked as a caseworker in the welfare department. He is a graduate of the School of Social Sciences at Waseda University. In 2018, he was appointed as the Superintendent of Education for Edogawa Ward. He was first elected as Mayor in April 2019 and was subsequently re-elected to a second term in April 2023.
