Takuya Yamaguchi is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Ureshino in Saga Prefecture. Born in Ureshino in 1985, he graduated from the Kyushu University Faculty of Design. Before entering politics, he worked for the municipal governments of Fukuoka City and Ureshino City. Yamaguchi was first elected to the Ureshino City Council in 2018, serving two terms. In January 2026, he was elected mayor after defeating the incumbent candidate, and he officially assumed office on February 5, 2026.
