Todd Gloria

Todd Gloria is an American politician serving as the 37th mayor of San Diego since 2020. A member of the Democratic Party, he is the first person of color and the first openly gay person to hold the office. Previously, he served as a member of the California State Assembly representing the 78th district and as a San Diego City Council member, where he also served as interim mayor in 2013. Throughout his career, Gloria has focused on addressing the housing crisis, homelessness, public infrastructure, and climate change through initiatives like the San Diego Climate Action Plan.
