中村時広

Tokihiro Nakamura is the current Governor of Ehime Prefecture, having served in the position since 2010. A graduate of Keio University, he began his career at Mitsubishi Corporation before entering politics. He served as a member of the Ehime Prefectural Assembly and later as a member of the House of Representatives. Prior to his governorship, he held the office of Mayor of Matsuyama for three terms, where he focused on urban development and administrative reforms. As Governor, Nakamura has emphasized regional economic revitalization, the promotion of cycling tourism such as the Shimanami Kaido, and the aggressive marketing of local products. He is known for his pragmatic approach to governance and has maintained a long-standing tenure through successive re-elections.
