Tom Bright

Tom Bright Amooti is a Ugandan politician and businessman currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Kyaka Central constituency in Kyegegwa District. A member of the National Resistance Movement, he has represented his constituency in both the 10th and 11th Parliaments of Uganda. Before his national political career, he served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Inter-Kingdom Cooperation for the Tooro Kingdom. Beyond politics, he is a prominent entrepreneur in the Tooro region, with business interests in media and hospitality. He has recently advocated for increased agricultural support for local farmers and remains an active figure in regional politics.
