浅田敏彦

Toshihiko Asada is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Arao in Kumamoto Prefecture. Born in 1960, he spent his early career as a civil servant within the Arao City government, eventually rising to positions such as General Affairs Department Director and Enterprise Bureau Director. He was first elected mayor in 2017 and has since secured re-election, including a third term in 2025. As mayor, he has prioritized social welfare, notably implementing free school lunches for all elementary schools in the city, a first among Kumamoto's 14 cities.
