Toshimi Takasu is a Japanese politician and administrative scrivener currently serving as the Mayor of Namegata in Ibaraki Prefecture. Born in 1964 in the former Tamatsukuri town, he graduated from Nihon University's College of Bioresource Sciences. Before entering politics, he had a long career in local government, serving as the director of the economic and planning departments for Namegata City. He was elected mayor in September 2025 after campaigning on a platform that included reviewing the city's plan to consolidate municipal office buildings. Upon taking office in October 2025, he officially announced the cancellation of the consolidation project and moved to allocate budget funds for the maintenance of the existing city hall.
