Vahagn Aleksanyan is an Armenian politician and arabist who serves as the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia and Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Civil Contract party. Born in Ijevan, he graduated from the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Yerevan State University and previously worked as a public relations coordinator and hotel manager. He has been a member of parliament across multiple convocations representing the Civil Contract faction.
