Val Peterson

Val L. Peterson is an American politician serving as a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives, representing District 56 in Orem. First elected in 2010, he has been a consistent presence in the state legislature, where he has served on numerous committees including the Executive Appropriations Committee and the House Education Committee. Beyond his legislative duties, Peterson holds the position of Vice President of Administration and Legislative Affairs at Utah Valley University. His legislative focus has included secondary water metering, higher education financial aid, and various state government operations amendments.
