Yang Jen-ni
Profile
Yang Jen-ni is a Taiwanese politician and trade official currently serving as a Minister without Portfolio. Born in November 1954, she earned a bachelor's degree in foreign literature from National Taiwan University in 1978. She joined the Ministry of Economic Affairs in 1983 and has held numerous senior positions, including serving as the Director-General of the Bureau of Foreign Trade from 2014 to 2020, where she became the first woman to hold the position since 1969. Throughout her career, she has been deeply involved in international trade negotiations, including service at Taiwan's Permanent Mission to the WTO in Geneva.
