Mitsuhiro Yokota is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Nippon Ishin no Kai. Born in Tokyo, he graduated from Keio University and attended the Matsushita Institute of Government and Management. His political career began with two terms in the Kanagawa Prefectural Assembly, representing Chigasaki. After several unsuccessful bids for the national legislature spanning over three decades, he was finally elected to the House of Representatives in the 2026 general election representing the Kanagawa 18th district. Prior to his national legislative success, he worked in the private sector as an IT company executive.
