石田芳生

Yoshio Ishida is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Takahashi in Okayama Prefecture. Born in 1966, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Hiroshima University and previously worked at a land and house investigator's office. Ishida began his political career as a member of the Takahashi City Council, where he served three terms and held the position of council chair from 2022 to 2024. In the 2024 mayoral election, he campaigned on a platform of fiscal reform, including the provision of free school lunches and the development of urban parks. Upon his election, he emphasized his commitment to fiscal transparency and a citizen-oriented approach to municipal governance.
