柴田義朗

Yoshiro Shibata is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Tamano City in Okayama Prefecture. Born in 1961 in Tamano, he graduated from the Chuo University Faculty of Law. Before entering politics, he had a long career in the Okayama Prefectural Government, where he held various administrative roles including department head for regional promotion and child welfare, as well as serving as the vice-chair and secretary-general of the Okayama Prefectural University corporation. He was first elected as Mayor of Tamano in 2021 and was re-elected to a second term in October 2025.
