Agnes Taaka is a Ugandan politician and social worker currently serving as the Woman Member of Parliament for Bugiri District. First elected to the ninth Parliament of Uganda, she has maintained her seat through the tenth and eleventh parliaments. Before her legislative career, she worked as a Community Development Officer and Acting Sub-County Chief within the Bugiri District Local Government. She is a member of the National Resistance Movement and is actively involved in the Uganda Women Parliamentary Association, focusing on advocacy for economic empowerment and social development.
