Jacqueline Mbabazi

Jacqueline Mbabazi is a Ugandan educator, politician, and businesswoman serving as the Member of Parliament for Older Persons in Western Uganda within the 12th Parliament, alongside her role as Minister of State for Gender, Labour and Social Development for Elderly Affairs. Born in Rukungiri District, she pursued extensive education in Uganda and Sweden, earning degrees in science, education, and biotechnology. Throughout her career, she has worked as a secondary school teacher, helped establish the Uganda Revenue Authority, and served in various administrative and directorial roles in government and non-governmental organizations. Additionally, she leads the Women's League in the National Resistance Movement, Uganda's ruling political party.
