Margaret Lamwaka Odwar

Margaret Lamwaka Odwar is a Ugandan politician currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Chua East County in the 11th Parliament of Uganda. Born in 1969 in Kitgum District, she spent over two decades working as a primary school teacher and head teacher before entering politics. She previously served as the Woman Member of Parliament for Kitgum District in the 10th Parliament from 2016 to 2021, initially representing the National Resistance Movement before successfully running as an independent candidate in the 2021 general elections.
